Benefits of Chamber of Trade

Apart from the obvious networking opportunities the tangible benefits of membership of the Kirkby Lonsdale Chamber of Trade and Commerce are as follows:-

  1. Listing on the Kirkby Lonsdale website (only members are listed) with a direct link to their own website. The Kirkby Lonsdale site receives in excess of 3000 unique visits per month)
  2. Listing in the Kirkby Lonsdale town brochure. This publication is produced and distributed by the Chamber. It is a free of charge, pick up item that is distributed through TIC’s and other centres distributing leaflets.
  3. Listing on any other Kirkby Lonsdale Chamber publications (eg year planner).
  4. Concessionary advertising rates (half normal rates) for advertising on the Kirkby Lonsdale website. (as low as £10 per month)
  5. Concessionary rates for advertising in other Chamber publications (eg Victorian Fair Programme).
  6. Specific weekend events organised by the Chamber for the general good of the whole town (eg Victorian Fair and Country market/ Christmas Fair).

  8. Car Parking scheme in Kirkby Lonsdale. Set up costs covered by Chamber for participating businesses to then offer to refund the first hours parking fee to customers spending over £10 in their premises.
  9. General advertising from time to time in local press and on local radio (where the cost of advertising campaigns dictate additional funding from members may be sought on a buy in basis)
